Jenn is great! I never thought I would do a Boudoir shoot, but after working out consistently for a year, I decided I felt like I wanted to celebrate my post-baby body! I was pretty nervous, but Jenn and her hair and makeup artist, Jade, made everything so comfortable! After just a few photos I felt empowered and beautiful! Working with Jenn is a dream! I've been on a journey of learning to love myself and Jenn made me feel beautiful, confident, bold, sexy, and empowered. She was so easy to work with from the beginning of the process. We discussed what kind of look or vibe I wanted, ideas for outfits/accessories, and why I wanted to do this shoot for myself. Jenn was the best hype girl! She gave great direction during the shoot. She would show me how she wanted me to pose--either by demonstrating or showing me a picture. Jenn had me feeling so confident that I stepped outside of my comfort zone in the best way possible! I never thought I would have a boudoir or bodyscape body. Jenn proved me wrong!
The experience was amazing but then I saw the pictures. All I can say is WOW! I never thought I would see myself like that. I looked like such a badass!

Jennifer did a boudoir photo shoot for me. It was a fantastic, amazing experience! Jennifer made me feel so comfortable, beautiful and empowered. I was worried about feeling uncomfortable during the shoot (my body has changed quite a bit since having my baby) but it was quite the opposite. She was wonderful at helping me feel at ease. The photos came out so beautifully and I cannot believe how the photos came out. I highly recommend a session with her! Jade (the make up and hair artist) was amazing too.     Jenn photographed the birth of my daughter, her newborn pictures and is our go to family portrait photographer. The images Jenn captured at my labor and delivery of my daughter are absolutely breathtaking. Jenn was so respectful and honestly I forgot she was in the room. Every time I look at these images, I cry because it reminds me of the amazing experience and miracle that giving birth to my daughter truly was. I didn’t realize how much I would love these images. I will cherish them forever. When Jenn did our daughter’s newborn pictures she was so gentle with our baby. She knew exactly how to relax her to capture beautiful and peaceful images. As our kids have grown and she continues to take our family pictures, she is playful and fun with both of our kids. She has captured so many great family shots! We are so happy with all our pictures and we use them every year for our Christmas card and have printed a bunch of the images to hang them in our home.
We plan to continue use Jenn again and again as our family grows older. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to get keepsake pictures taken.     ~Julie-Ann

 Jenn did a family holiday photo shoot with my 5 year old daughter and twin one year olds. Jenn was amazing. I was practically pulling my hair out as my children ran in different directions, knocked over props and ate her snowflake ornaments. Meanwhile, Jenn rolled with it all, turning the most chaotic moments into adorable photo memories. Not only was she patient and fun but she managed to get all the wish pics I wanted and delivered them to me within the same week so I could get out holiday cards. She was fabulous! We had an AMAZING experience with Jennifer Maesen Photography! We booked her to take professional photos of our 1-year old. Before her, we had never had any photos taken of our baby-we are really picky about our photos, and had the mentality that "If someone else can get good pictures of her, so can we." Boy, were we wrong! Jennifer captured absolutely beautiful photos of our daughter, ones that we would never have come close to being able to take! She was patient and sweet, and managed to get our 1 year-old to enjoy herself, stand still and even smile for the camera. When my daughter was running around on the photo set and being goofy, Jenn somehow managed to capture these great poses and images from that- not sure how she did it, but we couldn't be happier. The photos were an outstanding quality, with an elegant, ethereal feel- we have a bunch of them framed on the walls of our house and always get compliments on them. We definitely plan on using Jennifer Maesen Photography again, and highly recommend her to anyone looking to get pictures taken!     ~Rabab 

 Jenn photographed our engagement session, and we couldn't have asked for more! She is the perfect mix of professionalism and ease, so very friendly and cheerful. She was flexible with our vision of how we wanted the session to go, scouted locations beforehand and provided a Pinterest board with cute and fun ideas. She incorporated our bicycles and made the photos very personal to us. She worked with natural light very well but was also able to work some editing magic with photos that were taken in less than ideal lighting close to sunset! Her fees and packages are very reasonable. We loved the finished edited photos and would highly recommend her!     ~Marianne 

I originally booked Jenn for only the newborn photo session, but afterwards upgraded to the Baby's Treasury package for my new daughter because of how great my experience was. She came to my house for our newborn shoot with everything she needed (and more) to turn my living room into a mini studio. It was so easy for me! I knew from the poses and props Jenn used that our photos would be great. Very quickly we received the proofs and each one was excellent so it was hard to choose which to print. The prints are very high quality too. I can't wait for our remaining sessions to see how Jenn captures my baby in beautiful and creative ways. Working with Jenn was so much fun!  Jenn did a photo session with my dog, Maynard. Not only did I get awesome pictures of my pup, the proceeds went to a fabulous animal shelter.  Jenn is really good at working with animals.  It's not always easy to capture great photos when working with dogs and she did a wonderful job!  I am SO happy with all of the pictures!      ~ Jen

Working with Jenn is more than a pleasure! I booked a session with Jenn to take some retro "pin-up" inspired photos for my baking blog. Jenn took time to meet with me ahead of time and to get an idea of what I was looking for. She was even kind enough to provide some wardrobe suggestions. The session was great fun. Jenn has a way of making people feel comfortable while being photographed.  She also cares about her clients' opinions and preferences. Her color correction work can be natural and subdued, or fun and creative, depending on what you're looking for. I've done a lot of family photo shoots with different photographers over the past few years, and Jenn has, BY FAR, been my FAVORITE. She not only got us in, but came out to San Francisco to shoot my boyfriend and during his short time on leave from Afghanistan, and was the SWEETEST and friendliest photographer - all while remaining professional. Jenn had taken our family portraits at Pacifica beach one afternoon... It was our first time having professional pics, Jenn was great ! We felt so comfortable and the pics were beautiful. My Christmas gift this year was a photo/video package from Jennifer Maesen Photography.  Jennifer took fantastic shots of our family, which included a variety of different styles and poses.  She has a great eye and is super easy to work with.  We received prints, Christmas cards and an e-video.  Jennifer was very professional and spent extra time with us to ensure we were satisfied.   This Christmas I received so many compliments from my cards and e-card.  Getting this gift was one of the best!     ~ Edwina
